FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
New Podcast RadCentral Launches, discussing Private Equity in Healthcare and Scope of Practice Expansion, Among Other Radiology Related Topics
August 15, 2024 – Moorestown, NJ – We are excited to announce the launch of “RadCentral,” a new podcast. The RadCentral podcast aims to foster conversations about current events and developments affecting healthcare today, viewed through the lens of radiology. It’s not just for specialists, however. Producer of the podcast, Excalibur Healthcare, wants to call attention to developments and discussions that affect the patient community as a whole.
About “RadCentral”
“RadCentral” aims to distill current events, research and developments into convenient, informative episodes. The hosts of the podcast are hoping a short listen serves radiologists and healthcare professionals who seek digestible content impacting their industry. They are also eager to help translate why some subjects are meaningful to the everyday healthcare consumer. Radiology is often a hidden component of a patient’s healthcare experience. Many issues affecting radiology in 2024 affect the medical care that depends on it, and by extension, impact the patient population at large.
Arthur J Greene, M.D., founder and president of Excalibur Healthcare, says “I believe strongly in patient-centric service, and wish this podcast to be a venue for open discourse.”
Betsy Cook, co-host of the podcast and Excalibur’s Marketing Director, says, “Many current themes in radiology can have a dramatic effect on patient outcomes. At Excalibur, we feel that some trends are too important to be overlooked. If we can create another channel for awareness, and add visibility to radiology, then we should do it. This podcast will accomplish that.”
Episodes will feature interviews and discussions on a wide range of topics:
Topics include:
· Scope of Practice Expansion – Episode 1, just released, features radiologist Monica Deshmukh MD commenting on scope of practice issues that could broadly affect patient populations.
· Private Equity Involvement in Healthcare – Episode 2 (August 29 release) California Attorney David Millstein of Millstein and Associates discusses Corporate Practice of Medicine and his experiences litigating on behalf of physician groups.
